My schedule is seriously hectic. My hubby and I both work full-time, demanding tasks. We have numerous sons who are all heavily involved in sports. It seems all of us are constantly running from one obligation to the next, struggling to accomplish everything and there’s never enough time. Simply trying to keep up with and manage our home is a challenge. My hubby and I recently updated to a home automation system, which saves time and money, and make our yearly lives more productive. We no longer spend money on household appliances left running when the house is empty. We’re able to adjust the operation of the oil furnace, A/C, lights and all small appliances from virtually anywhere. I don’t need to remember to adjust the control component before heading out the door in the morning, and all of us don’t return home to chilly chilly or overheated house. Plus, I get alerts if there’s a problem. If the water gas furnace bursts, the gas oil furnace quits, or the central cooling system requires service, I get a text message. The smart control component will even alert the Heating and A/C company directly. Because I’m taking better care of our essential appliances, there’s less likely to be a malfunction. I expect the oil furnace, A/C, sump pump, and even the clothes dryer to run more efficiently, reliably and last longer. By conserving energy, I’ve significantly lowered our weekly costs and minimized our family’s carbon footprint. I’m also enjoying greater peace of mind. I used to habitually worry about whether or not I had taken care of everything at home before leaving for the morning. With so several demands on our time, it’s nice to constantly have access to what’s going on at home, even when I’m not physically there.
