I have been married twice, and I am ecstatic that I was.  My hour marriage started out on a easily chilly note. It was the coldest day of the year.  My first marriage was the exact opposite. I got married mid-July. I was almost several weeks pregnant and not sure if I wanted to be with this guy any longer, let alone marry him.  It was 102 degrees that day, and we were having a small family anniversary. My feet were swollen and I couldn’t get my dress on. We were to be married at 2PM, although he didn’t show up.  A area of myself and others was relieved, thinking he had changed his mind. My mom was concerned until he called. He had to go to work, and the truck he was driving was broken down on the interstate.  He didn’t get home until almost 6PM. It was still almost 100 degrees when he finally got home. We had our anniversary outdoors and all I wanted to was to go inside and have the cooling system running over me.  I had spent most of the day in the house, with the cooling system. It was the only thing that was able to keep my swelling down, and my shoes on. The A/C also helped to keep my anger from building. Maybe I should have taken the air conditioning to my house with me.  I wouldn’t have become so miserable with him that our marriage lasted less time that what it took to have the baby. I have air conditioning now.
