For our first romantic date, my partner said that he would choose the venue. We both loved the countryside and were born and raised there, so he thought that we should head out to an ideal spot and have a romantic picnic all to ourselves. It all sounded good in our minds, but we didn’t take the weather seriously. Living in the deep south, the summers are too brutal to hang out any place without cooling A/C for more than ten minutes. As a result, when we set off and began setting up our picnic, we were starting to feel sunburned and sweaty very shortly! We were both too hot and nauseous to want to eat any of the delectable food we had packed, and then I was suddenly hit with an ephiany. There was a movie theater not too far from us, so we would be able to hang out in the cold and cooling air conditioning while getting a bite to eat. My idea ended up carrying the day. It was less romantic than a picnic in good weather, but it was much more relaxing in A/C. From then on, I have been carefully selecting all of the date night ideas for us on Saturdays. I have been doing a bang up job, if I do say so, because we have been going steady for two years now and are looking towards marriage. All it took was thinking about where we would be comfortable: in HVAC!
