My family and I did our typical grocery run early in the morning last Saturday. If you want to avoid the crowds, you come in later at evening before closing, or early in the morning before 9:00 AM. My family & I had grown tired of trying to fight our way through a crowded supermarket each Saturday, so all of us decided to try going early – I’m talking right after the sun comes up crack of dawn! When all of us pulled up to the grocery store, the lot was practically empty – that was the first promising good sign, however then all of us walked into the store, & found that the air conditioning unit was blasting cold air! We’d never felt this cool & comfortable at the supermarket before, mostly because of the tons of people pouring body heat into the air & counteracting the A/C system. The air quality was also much better than usual, which I thought was peculiar; As all of us paced the aisles & gathered our groceries up for the week, I observed every single vent register overhead as it poured chilled air down onto us really nice. It was blowing our mind, just how comfortable & cool this place was in the early morning! When all of us finally got up to the checkout lane, I had to ask the cashier if it was normally this cool in the morning, but he laughed, saying it’s usually love this until the crowds show up around 9:00 AM! Well, if it means being in the excellent air conditioning & being comfortable while grabbing our groceries, I’ll cheerfully keep coming in this early in the morning!
