My furnace is driving me absolutely bonkers. Since I installed it last September, the furnace has consistently been shutting down and giving me an error code when trying to heat the house back up to temperature. I regularly come home to a house that is 7 to 10 degrees below the targeted temperature on the thermostat. The only way I can fix it is to power down and restart the entire furnace. I have to do this every single day. I finally got around to calling an HVAC professional to come take a look at my HVAC system. Since it’s peak season, it took a full week before I was able to get someone over to my house. After 2 hours of tinkering with my furnace, the HVAC guy looks at me and says that he just can’t figure out what’s wrong with it. He’s tried just about everything and I am going to need to contact the HVAC installation company that installed the furnace because they are likely going to be the only ones who know what’s wrong with it. So, the next day, I called the installation company. They come out later that day and spend an hour or so trying out a few new parts. Four months later, six different servicemen from the same company have tried to solve my furnace issue and not a single one can figure it out. Today, when I called the HVAC installation company, my call went straight to voicemail. Great, so now they are avoiding me. I think I am going to have to get a new furnace.
